About Townsend Seeds International

We have been an international grower and supplier of vegetable seeds, forage and pasture seeds and cereals since the 1997. Founder and managing director, Lynn Townsend, has worked in the seed merchant business for over 40 years.

We specialise in:

• Garden Peas

We are based at Lincoln, 17km from the heart of Christchurch City, which is situated on the fertile Canterbury Plains. We employ six full-time staff and several part-time staff during the busy seasons. We have research and trial facilities available, as well as access to some of the most modern seed cleaning plants in New Zealand. Our knowledge of the garden pea industry is second to none.

We supply into markets worldwide, including Europe, Asia, America and South Africa. All seed is produced under the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries' certification scheme, and we are accredited to the O.E.C.D. Certification scheme.
